Diesel hammer selection points

Diesel Hammer has strong explosive force, large hammering energy, high work efficiency, longer hammering time than free-fall hammering time, relatively low hammering stress, automatic adjustment of impact distance (drop distance), and is more suitable for prefabricated square piles or pipe piles. Drum-type diesel piling hammers are now widely used, especially the drum-type diesel piling hammers produced in recent years. The gas supply throttle is divided into four gears, the first gear is small and the fourth gear is large. When piling is generally used 2-3 gears, the operator is easy to grasp, and the hammering energy is easy to estimate.

The choice of a Piling Hammer is a complex issue with many factors to consider. The main indicators for measuring the rationality of piling hammer selection are:

(1) It can ensure that the bearing capacity of the pile meets the design requirements;

(2) The pile can sink into the design depth smoothly or basically smoothly;
(3) The damage rate of pile driving can be controlled at about 1%, not more than 3%;
(4) The penetration that meets the design requirements is 20-40mm/10 strokes;
(5) The number of hammer blows for each pile should be within 1500 blows and not more than 2000-2500 blows.
